Welcome to the ALL-NEW Sutter Buttes Best Country KKCY Country 103.1!
Dave & Briggs Crazy Stuff!

Wanted to take a minute and thank you all for another fantastic year. Briggs and I are well aware that we don't get to do what we do without you. We are extremely grateful for each and every one of you and look forward to doing it all again in 2014. Have a very Merry Christmas full of family and friends, or if you want to celebrate like Briggs, just the dog and cat. Whatever works for you. Happy holidays and thanks again,

Dave and Briggs

This years Thanksgiving turkey drive was our most successful ever. And, we have you to thank for it.

And nothing says thank you for caring about your community than a fat guy in a turkey hat

It's happened to me twice and to many others here in the mid valley.

Today, we once again realize that we can't take for granted the freedoms that we enjoy. Today is our opportunity to thank those who have worked so hard to preserve those freedoms.

To put it another way : No them, no us.

To those who serve. To those who have served. And, for those who wait for them back home...

Thank you

All I know about art is that I can't do art. Any art. So when I see something like this, i am just amazed.

HALLOWEEN!

Here are some really cool pumpkins to get you in the trick or treat mood.

Remember when mom or dad would cut triangle noses and eyes and a mouth with 2 teeth? Yeah, these guys don't do that.

But others, well others work quite hard.

Max Stassi, who played his high school baseball for Yuba City high, is currently playing professionally for the Corpus Christie Hooks, the AA affiliate of the Houston Astros. Lat weekend, he tweeted out that he had "caught history". He was the catcher when the batter struck out with just one pitch thrown.

Now, I can't go to Redding...ever.  And If my car were to ever break down in Redding, I would just live inside.

My father in law has squirrels that run around his backyard.  They're fun to watch, but it occurred to me that they might get tired doing all that nut gathering and tree climbing and other squirrel stuff.  So, I got 'em a chair.  At least one of them loves it already.

By the way, the squirrel chair is an actual thing.  I did not make it (well, anyone that has listened for more than a week knows I did not make it...I can't make anything)

Chairs for squirrels, we live in amazing times.

Among MANY other reasons.  We went to Tahoe For our anniversary and got snow on the first day.  For us it was fun, I assume that for people who get snowed on all the time, not so much.  That's my car in the hotel parking lot.  I can't imagine having to deal with this all the time.

Dental hygeine is important.  It took Briggs a loooonnnngggg time to figure that out.

This picture should have a caption, but I can't think of anything that would do it justice.

Or maybe it does just fine on it's own.

Actual conversation with Briggs Moor

Dave: So are you gonna use those McDonalds coupons?

Briggs: Of Course!

Dave: What do you think of those new fish things?

Briggs: They probably are not good, but I have a coupon for a free order.

Dave: So you don't think you'll like them?

Briggs: Nah.

Dave: Then Why would you order them?

Briggs: Well, duh!  I have a coupon.

For the official video for "Southern Comfort Zone", Brad Paisley went to 8 countries in 8 days, played guitar in Africa while a Giraffe tried to lick the guitar, and he says this video, created by a fan, is better than what he did.

I don't know how much work went into making this, but I am guessing it was a lot.

I don't know what state this took place in, but i suppose it could have been any.

A gentleman went to his county building office and asked for a permit to build a shelter in his pasture for his horses...Just something to keep the sun and rain off of them.  The permit was denied.  So our farmer friend went home, thought about it and then called the permit office and asked if he needed to come in and get a permit if he wanted to build furniture.  They told hime no, so this is what he built:
